About the Client

Founded in Australia in 2014, our Client specializes in fixed and mobile crushing, screening and on-selling of crushed materials from various locations throughout Australia they bring quality Road Base and Aggregate materials to customers with a first-class service and extensive experience in the quarry and civil industries. They are currently looking for a Multiskilled Operator to join their Yatala team at their Quarry facility.

What you will be doing

You will be required to work Monday - Friday commencing at 6.30am working 8 - 10 hour days. You will be predominantly required to operate and maintain heavy machinery, such as excavators, loaders, bulldozers, and conveyor systems, to extract and transport raw materials as well as:

• Conducting daily inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure they are functioning properly and identifying any maintenance or repair needs.

• Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, including wearing appropriate PPE and following procedures.

• Keeping accurate records of production and maintenance activities and reporting any issues to supervisors.

• Communicating with other members of the quarry team, including supervisors, maintenance personnel, and truck drivers, to ensure smooth operation of the quarry.

*You will be required to attend a face to face interview with site prior to commencing*

What you will need

• A minimum of three operating tickets including Dozer, Excavator, Front End Loader, Dozer

• HR Licence (highly desirable)

• Prior waste management experience

• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

• Good work ethic, understand importance of turning up to work
